Given the length of the run (well beyond a sprint distance) and already decent amount of recovery time, I feel that any additional increase to the rest period will produce only minor increases in work during the effort. I felt that I achieved probably 90%+ recovery between efforts with the 3mins rest. I believe a work rest ratio between 1.5-2:1 is what a moderate runner should be aiming for in a shortish interval (e.g. 1200m) **One factor worth considering is that I performed the workout on a treadmill in less than suitable environment conditions, and as such I feel I was unable to completely max out as I would if on a running track. Thanks.

I'm thinking that a slightly longer rest may have added to the amount of work per effort. Thoughts? Nice times.

Can't say i enjoying running on a treadmill, but that's the way it goes. It got done and definitely got something out of it. Was the first run in ~month. Hanna: 6:25, 6:35, 6:34 On treadmill @2%. Went ok, extremely hot in stuffy gym without aircon. Running is improving as my strength improves. Thanks!! Ben:
