subbed/scaled: 20kg DB swings, and 50 x double unders for ‘The Gasser’

Short and nasty. DUs went to the dogs after the first round due to fatigue. Swings unbroken, but very heavy. I was racing a buddy who was doing the same WOD with different scaling…we got to the last round of skips together he had to get 50 alternate leg skips (he’s still learning) and I needed 50 DUs…he beat me by a couple of seconds!!! Damn!!

Subbed/scaled: 12.5kg DB Swing, 35kg assisted Pullup, 50x DUs for Gasser.

Tough workout. Round two included 4 jumping assisted pullups as some muscleheads were blocking the assisted pullup machine. Added approx 1min to the total time. Also broke the skipping rope in round 2. Wasn’t the smoothest of workouts then, but got the job done and was toast at the end of it.
We both messed around with some handstands, splits, L-sits and planche after and before todays WOD. Definitely will be inlcuding more of this into the warm up and post WOD.
